If you need batteries, parts or accessories for any model Segway ever manufactured we’ve got you covered. We keep a large selection of new, used and remanufactured parts in-stock to get you and your Segway back up and rolling with a minimum of downtime. Our factory trained service team is at your service to help with questions or repairs to your GEN1 or GEN2 Segway.
As a leader in two-wheeled electric mobility, it's always been Segway's vision to produce environmentally friendly short-distance transportation alternatives. Today, more and more people are using the Segway PT as an eco-friendly alternative for many of the short journeys that are typically made by car. In fact, The EPA estimates that Americans take 900 million car journeys every day and half of these trips are less than five miles long and are made by solo drivers.
The Segway PT, with it's one-of-a-kind self balancing technology, can take you places that a car or bicycle can't - including inside many stores, office buildings, businesses, airports, elevators, and trains. Although they're ideal for short jaunts, Segway PTs can travel as far as 24 miles/38 km on a single battery charge, depending on terrain, payload, and riding style.
Segway Transport Options – The Segway PT-Hauler
One of the most exciting and useful accessory items we carry is the Segway PT-Hauler. This device attaches to your vehicle’s receiver hitch and easily allows you to transport any GEN1 or GEN2 model Segway PT outside of the vehicle. This saves valuable interior room and reduces the time and effort used loading and unloading your Segway with ramps or lifting. The unit comes standard with a two-inch hitch unit or can be used with an optional 1 ¼ inch adapter. A "Double Hauler" T-Bar mounting bracket can be purchased to connect two Segway PT Haulers together and carry two of any Segway model at the same time. Seating Options for Your Segway PT
Our dealership provides two seating accessories that can be used on your Segway PT. The SegSaddle and the LeanSeat™ provide options for individuals that might not have the ability to stand for long periods of time, yet want the comfort and convenience for extending their mobility that the Segway PT affords. Both of these units can be seen in our dealership and given a trial run in the training area of our showroom.
